This is a great opportunity for students to learn how to manipulate, tabulate, and display data using Stata software; how to do correlational data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, generalized linear mixed effects models, generalized estimating equation models and more. This online course is supported by Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) International Summer School Project and hosted by the School of Public Policy And Administration of Xi'an Jiaotong University. XJTU, a key university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of China, is one of the oldest universities in China. The School of Public Policy And Administration was established in 2004 and is dedicated to training high-level public management and policy research talents needed for the development of modern society, contributing to the development of the discipline of public administration in China. Interested students can join and register for this course if they wish.

l Course Professor
Duolao Wang
Dr Duolao Wang is Professor and Chair in Biostatistics at Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. He has been using Stata for over 25 years and contributed 5 software modules to the Stata software. His methodological interests include statistical issues in design, analysis and reporting of clinical trials and observational studies (e.g., win ratio method, Bayesian method, longitudinal data and multilevel modelling, prognostic models, non-parametric regression, the propensity score approach, data mining, and machine learning). He has published over 340 peer-reviewed papers in the international journals with a citation of over 37K times and H-index of 71.
